The LEAP Advantage

Low instructor to student ratio

LEAP'sinstructor to student ratio is1:4. A low instructor to student ratio helps students have sufficient interaction with instructors to ensure understanding of the concepts.  It also allows for the instructor to pay more attention to each student and their learning styles.

Common core

aligned curriculum

LEAP provides students with an up-to-date curriculum that aligns with the Common Core. Our curriculum was developed within the last ten years and our workbooks supply students with the understanding they need to

succeed in school.

Operated by a local

credentialed educator

LEAP Director Ms. Poh is a credentialed middle school teacher in the Alameda Unified School District (AUSD). She has been working in the AUSD for the past 10 years.

Advocates for our students

Ms. Poh and LEAP staff focus on each student’s needs and adjust as needed (e.g., research for add’l learning tools/worksheets) to help with their learning.  We are strong advocates for their learning and success, and understand every student is unique when it comes to learning (e.g., how they comprehend, pace of learning, etc.).

The LEAP Method - A Fail-Safe Education System

1. Initial Assessment

The initial assessment provides our well-trained instructors with an accurate analysis of students' strengths, as well as learning gaps.

2. Personalized Curriculum

A personalized structured curriculum with a step-by-step scaffolding structure will be created to help your child build a strong and solid foundation in Math and English.

3. In Center Learning

The student learns key concepts and practices weekly in center with the instructor. Student will come for one or two sessions per week, each session is ~1 hour.

4. Practice makes Perfect

Students practice key skills at home to achieve mastery while building academic discipline and self-confidence.
