Math & English Boot Camp (with optional afternoon enrichment)

Goal: Accelerate progress toward grade-level achievement in Math and English over the summer.

Who: Students entering K–8th Grade
When: July 6 – July 31 from Mondays to Fridays (4 weeks or weekly)

Math & English Boot Camp

Stop the summer slide and catch up with school

Make the most of summer by accelerating learning, catching up, and keeping your mind sharp.

Goal: Accelerate progress toward grade-level achievement in Math and English over the summer.

What students will do:
Daily lessons and practice using the LEAP curriculum

  • Work directly with LEAP instructors
  • Build skills and confidence in Math and English

Target campers: Students who are behind grade level (Kindergarten through 8th grade)

Dates:

  • When: July 6 – July 31 from Monday – Friday (4 weeks total)
  • Weekly enrollment option available

Schedule Options:
Half-Day: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Full-Day: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Afternoon enrichment: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Lunch break included for full-day students- please bring lunch from home.

Enrichment Program Includes: hands-on STEAM activities (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math)

Entire Boot Camp (July 6 – July 31)
$1200 (Half-Day)
$2000 (Full-Day)
Weekly Option:
$400/week (Half-Day)
$600/week (Full-Day)

Financial Literacy

This program will teach your children how to handle their money. Learn money management skills that will benefit for life. Throughout the week, students will learn proper financial principles and mindset, what a budget is and how to set one,  what credit is and the dangers of mishandling credit, and the concept of investing and what the stock market is.

Age Group: Middle & High Schoolers
Date: June 22 – June 26 from 9 am to 12 pm
Cost: $400

Financial Literacy

Jack Liu

Jack Liu is the owner and Assistant Director at LEAP. Jack is also a Principal Financial Analyst with over 20 years of experience in corporate finance and holds an MBA from Santa Clara University. Over his career, Jack has developed business financial reporting and budget cycles, provided strategic financial advice, and testified in regulatory proceedings. He also has a background in financial investment and was previously certified with Series 7 and 63 licenses.

Financial Literacy

Students explored budgeting, saving, credit, investing, and smart spending through practical, age-appropriate activities. The course helped them understand everyday money choices, build responsible habits, and gain confidence in making financial decisions that can support their goals throughout school and adult life.

Understanding AI Tools & Intro to Coding

Students discovered how artificial intelligence works, how to evaluate AI-generated information, and why responsible use matters. They also learned basic JavaScript, practiced debugging simple code, solved creative challenges, and completed a small project that strengthened logical thinking and digital confidence.

Understanding AI and Introduction to Coding

Peter Doan

Peter Doan is a Software Engineering Manager with over 20 years of experience building real-world technology and AI systems. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of New Brunswick, Canada, and began his career as a teacher and Assistant Professor. Over the years, Peter has helped create powerful software, won multiple hackathons, and earned more than 15 patents for his innovations. Peter loves breaking down complex ideas into simple, fun explanations. In this course, he helps students discover how modern AI works behind the scenes and how it can act like a smart teammate to solve real problems in the world around us.
